The history of shaving off pubic hair:

Somewhere in our history of the last 100 years people shied away from pubic hair grooming, yet history is full of pubic hair grooming and removal. Even the cavemen practiced pubic hair removal as evidenced by cave paintings, which showed cavemen plucking hair out with two sea shells. Later on cave men developed the flint razor to shave with. In fact shaving all areas of the body has been going on since around 100,000 B.C. Later on the Romans and Greeks both discovered that going sans hair in the private regions increased sexual pleasure and looked much nicer. Take a look at nearly all surviving art from the roman and Greek empire days and you will find many nudes have no hair down there or a thin landing strip. The ancient Egyptians also practiced this. The Greeks, Romans and Egyptians all thought it to be a more civilized thing to do, and all three of these cultures led world empires and provided us with science we still use to this day. The Egyptians and India were the first nations to develop the metal razor around 3000 B.C. The early Britons shaved every bit of hair except for the hair on the tops of their heads and upper lips, circa 50 B.C, according to the writings of the great Julius Caesar.

In the ancient days, these early shavers to suffered from razor bumps and razor burn, in fact more so then any of today! Their blades and other tools they used to remove body hair were far from being the precise precision tools we have today, and this caused major irritation to the skin. Luckily for our ancestors, they knew much about the natural world around them, more so then modern man, because modern man's medicine is largely chemical focused in the west. Our ancestors practiced herbal medicine making balms and salves out of various herbs from mother nature. In today's world there are also new products coming into the market place to combat razor bumps and razor burn, by bold company's who realize mother earth gave us the best assets to combat such trivial matters as razor bumps and razor burn. Newf Brand products are a key example of these cutting edge intimate shaving products starting to appear on the market.

Cultures far and wide in fact have always taken great care to groom down there. The fact so many cultures have performed various acts of intimate shaving, proves that there is a benefit to doing so. The puritanical ages did away with this, when we were taught not to enjoy sex, or to take shame in our body's. In the old puritanical days, it was considered a taboo to see an exposed private part, and hair down there did a good job covering it up in the few instances when it was OK to be naked around another. Thankfully those days are long gone. Today many people are discovering the joy, eroticism and more hygienic lifestyle afforded by intimate shaving, all done without itching, razor bumps , irritation and razor burns thanks to new products on the market to prevent this.
